Who this covers
This policy covers Kinglet, a service of Cancom Studio LLC, based in Los Angeles, California. It covers the businesses that use Kinglet, visitors to this website, and the people who call those businesses.
For privacy questions, email info@cancomstudio.com.
Businesses and website visitors
- Signing up. We ask for your business name, website and phone number, your name and email, your industry, time zone, hours and services, whether your business handles patient information, your plan and your AI model. We use them to build your agent and run your account.
- The “Let's talk” form. It sends us your name, email, business, phone number if you give it, industry, plan choices, whether you handle patient information and your notes. We use them to reply and set up your service. Please don't include patient details in it.
- Repeated sends. Our forms use a short-lived, scrambled form of your internet address to limit repeated sends. The form records don't keep the address itself.
- Payments. Card payments go through our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
- Visits. The site counts visits and measures how fast pages load, without ad pixels. Before a visit is counted, we remove everything after the page address. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, your visit isn't counted at all.
- Ad tags. If a link brings ad tags, like utm_source, the site keeps them in your browser tab for that visit and sends them with your sign-up, so we know what brought you. Closing the tab clears them.
- Cookies. The website's own code sets no cookies. Your dashboard uses cookies to keep you signed in.
- Hosting. When you load a page, our hosting service receives your internet address, the page you asked for, your browser details and the time, to deliver and protect the site.
People who call
When someone calls a business that uses Kinglet, the call creates the caller's phone number, a recording, a transcript, a short summary, and any booking or message. It can also hold the caller's name and the reason for the call.
We handle this information for the business that was called, to answer the call and follow up. People with a login to that business can see it. Our team can see it too, to set up, test and watch the agent, and to help when the business asks.
AI and recording
Every call starts with a greeting that says it's an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded.
We don't sell call information, and we don't use it to train AI models of our own. The services that run calls for us may use information in a de-identified or combined form to improve their own services, as their terms allow. Ask us, and we'll tell you what applies to your calls. Patient calls are set up so that the call system keeps no recording or transcript.
Text messages
When texting is on for a business, we text a caller only after they agree, for example by saying yes during the call, and only about what they asked for, like a booking confirmation or a reminder.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We only use service providers that help us deliver the messages.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop getting texts, or HELP for help. Our Terms of Service have the details.
Who helps us run Kinglet
We use services of these types:
- Phone carrier. Phone numbers, and connecting calls.
- Call system. Runs each live call.
- Speech-to-text. Turns what the caller says into text.
- AI model. Writes each reply.
- Voice. Speaks each reply.
- Hosting. Runs this website and your dashboard.
- Database. Stores your bookings, call details and settings.
- Payments. Takes card payments. We never see or store card numbers.
- Email. Sends sign-in and account emails.
Some types come from the same company. Clients can ask us for the names. We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect callers, our clients or our service.
How long things are kept
- Recordings and transcripts. Recordings and transcripts are deleted after 30 days.
- Patient calls. For patient calls, no recording is kept, and the transcript is stored encrypted and deleted within 90 days.
- Call details. The caller's number, the time, the summary and any booking stay in your dashboard while your account is open.
- Sign-up and billing records. Kept while your account is open, and after that as long as tax and legal duties require.
- Form requests. Kept as long as we need them to reply and keep our business records.
Healthcare
We handle patient information only under a signed Business Associate Agreement, and no patient calls are taken until it's signed and our checks are done. Please don't send patient details through this website's forms.
Your choices
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information. Email info@cancomstudio.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to confirm who you are first. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights.
If you called a business that uses Kinglet, that business decides about your call records. Ask them, or email us and we'll pass your request on.
Children, location and changes
Kinglet is a service for businesses, not for children.
Kinglet is run from the United States. Some services we use may process data in other countries.
We post changes here with a new date, before a new practice begins. Questions go to info@cancomstudio.com.
